May Giveaway Day

I was just over at Sew Mama Sew! where I saw that she is organizing a great bunch of websites that are hosting giveaways. I am going to participate in the May Giveaway Day by hosting a giveaway for a fun reusable coffee sleeve. This eco-friendly coffee cozy is handmade by me and you can see others similar to it in my Etsy shop: Threadbeaur. These great reusable sleeves can save lots of cardboard sleeves from going to the landfills.

What could be better than a free tee? I don't know. I was over at Olivebites, and she is hosting a giveaway of a free tee from XENOTEE. There are some great colors, and great designs. The giveaway is easy to enter, you just have to head over the the contest page, and leave a comment about your favorite item. Easy as that. The contest will not last forever, so check it out before it is over on March 9th.

A chance to Win

I was over at Misosouper today and saw that she was running a fantastic giveaway. I am always partial to giveaways that are considered "green" in nature. This time she has up for grabs a fun tote bag. The rules for this giveaway are easy, and there are ways to get extra entries!

Snuggly Flannel

Who doesn't love flannel, whether it is in PJ form or part of a snuggly quilt, the soft fabric is just so nice. I ran across a great giveaway for a few fat quarters of flannel fabrics. The fabric being given away is Urban Flannel Collection By: Valori Wells for Free Spirit. The bundle looks so nice and soft, I sure hope I win. Turning to Japanese Fabrics

I have recently discovered fun Japanese fabrics. The designs are so different, among my favorites are the novelty animal prints. I was entering a contest to win a $20 gift certificate for fabric, when I discovered one of my new favorite etsy shops. It is clear around the world from me, and yet I can buy fabric with a click of a button. Over at the fabric shop called Matatabi, the selection is large, and the shipping is low. I just found a great site that is hosting a fabric giveaway. They have done a feature showing off the fabrics from a great etsy shop, and they are giving away fabric along with the feature. The shop is Downshadowlane, and they have a great selection of fabrics, in all sorts of variety. From Amy Butler to fun Japenese prints, but check out the giveaway on A Heart For Home.

Spooky Wall Art Giveaway

A fond memory for me is spooky trip to the Haunted Mansion at Disney World when I was little. The pictures on the walls with the eyes that follow you. It was scary, but for some reason I loved it (or that is the way I remember it). I was looking around today and found this great giveaway that reminded me of my favorite ride. Over at Little Ant Design, they are hosting a giveaway for some spooky art. You will have to check it out. I think these pictures would look great on my entry wall where I have a ton of antique "fake family" pictures hanging around. One of these ghoulish portraits would fit nicely among them. Hair Hair Everywhere

It is that time of year, Nilla the giant yellow lab is shedding up a storm. If you have a lab you know what I am talking about. Here in the cold climate she is fine in the winter with a little hair here and there, but come summer it is hair everywhere. I am talking about tumbleweeds of hair in the corner, that blow around when the doors are open for a breeze.
I found a great contest on What's that smell?. They are giving away the FURminator, and I need one. I had never seen anything like it before, and her before and after pictures are great.
